In an excerpt from the Introduction, Virginia writes: “I am an ordinary woman with extraordinary experiences. My story begins in 1979 when I felt a leading I couldn't ignore... Because I have a certainty of what I am being led to do with my life, I understand now how I can make a difference in the world.”

News Coverage

Jonas Himmelstrand, Management Consultant, Educator, Writer and Social Critic.

Life has changed tremendously in the last few decades. However, our children have not. They have had the same needs for the last 100 000 years. In many highly developed countries there are signs that these needs are not being met. Psychological health is deteriorating in many western countries, not the least in Sweden, the country with perhaps the highest social ambitions. New findings in attachment psychology, educational psychology and neuroscience are proving that children and adolecents need their parents more than most of us are aware of. The relationship between parents and children is of key importance. Families need to be respected and cared for.

Jonas Himmelstrand writes and teaches in Swedish and English on this subject. An English translation of his recent speech given to members of the Swedish Parliament can be read at: http://www.stratletter.com/dec10speech.html
